Hi,

I want to copy a BIOS option from an MSI gt627 to an ASUS W90VP.

They both have very similar AMI BIOSs.
They have the same chipset and CPU support.

The option I want to copy is the "CPU ratio" option as you can see in my screenshot:

If anyone wants a copy of the BIOS files, here is where you can get them:

I have Hex Workshop Hex Editor installed along with many AMI BIOS mod tools, but I can't seem to do it.

Can somebody please offer some advice?

Cheers :D

The same chipset and CPU support doesn't guarantee that both motherboard are identical in terms of overclocking. You have to make sure the clock-generator chip used in both boards are the same before even trying this mod. Moreover, the feature that you want is not coded in the Option ROM, but it's part of the main/system BIOS module inside the AMI BIOS binary.
