Hi all,
I have a board with PCI-to-ISA bridge [ITE8888 chip]. I am customizing the BIOS for our board. Actually, I don't want O.S to see the chip at all. Is there anyway I could disable the chip thru' BIOS. I know by removing the IDSEL resistor, we could disable the chip. But I am just wondering whether we could disable it thru' [BIOS]software and not by changing hardware.
Thanks in Advance.
How to disable CHIP thru' BIOS.

Sounds like you started out with the wrong board to begin with. You should be able to ask the original manufacturer to do this.
