Hi,

I have a 1.8GHz (400MHz FSB) Pentium M (Dothan) that I'd like to run at 2.4GHz (533MHz FSB) using the pin-out trick. When installed, I can access the BIOS settings indefinitely, but when Windows starts up, it crashes. I'm close but not quite there. I strongly suspect that with a little more voltage, the processor would be stable.

I have a Dell 9300. Unfortunately, the BIOS does not provide voltage tweaking capabilities.

Thus I'd like to be able to modify the BIOS table entry for the 1.8GHz 400MHz Pentium M and slightly increase the default voltage. Does anyone know how to accomplish this feat? Or can you direct me to a set of utilities that would allow me to make this change?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

No, you can't. Voltage is controlled by VID pins of the CPU connected to onboard voltage regulator.
