I loaded the latest PC-Chips M577 BIOS, 990306s.bin, into MODBIN and was surprised to find that the disk table was complete garbage. Does one of the experts know why ? The same applies to Jan Steunebrink's (sp?) modified version, 990309j.bin.
I was really investigating how difficult it would be to identify the change in the Award code to support discs >32Gb; the disk table isn't relevant, but I just noticed it in passing. I'll post a separate thread asking about this.

I think that it's incompatibility between modbin and the BIOS. You can try some other version of MODBIN. maybe it will work.

I have now found and tried Modbin 4.50.77 and 4.50.80 but neither gives a correct disc table decode for Amptron 9900/PC-Chips M577 BIOS 990306S.bin....
