Hi everybody
I have a hp pavillon dv 6162ea with Phoenix Bios /ACPI2.0 version F.29. I have saerched for for an update but i didn't find anything.
yeterday I tried to mod the F.29 version using the Phoenix Mod Tool 1.42 but I get an error.this is the log file:

If your notbook is working properly then there's no need to update the Bios. Moding Notebok bios is highly risky especiallyas the Bios flashrom is usually soldered onto the mainboard, if something goes wong ith the modded Bios your Notebook is merely dead.
Do you have a specific reason to update/modify your Bios ?

Phoenix bios are sucking,thats why i wanna mod it or at least update it.
