Open source NIC ROM for CBROM

I want to point out a website that have ROMs for network cards.

http://rom-o-matic.net/ (look up using the PCI ID of your NIC)

You can download the ROMs and slip them into the BIOS for your onboard card. A simple instruction can be found here, but people familiar with CBROM should not require it.

The reason they made this is because many manufacturers produce ROMs that are incompatible with network booting (PXE Boot).

Most people should not have a need for updating their NIC BIOS since setting up a PXE server is pain in the butt.
