Hi,
I'm looking for AMIBCP that's older than version 7.00.beta11 (This one is released in 1999). I'm currently working on BIOS for motherboard that was manufactured in 1995/1996 (very old eh, just like manufactured in the prehistoric era by today standard 8O ).

Too bad I gotta working on this oldies mobo. But, I have no choice :(

I'm particularly interested in the version named: WBCP511.EXE

apparently not out there yet, this is the closest I got, someone trying to hack in with a custom tool:

What do you need exactly?

Hmm, checked my HDD and found BCP 621, copyrighted 1995 and also BCP 6.24t, copyrighted 1997

Send me a mail and I'll send you the two files.

The AMIBCP versions offered by Denniss  . The binary that I'm working with is AMIBIOS code version 6.27. I think, the WINBCP511.EXE that I mentioned above wouldn't work for my binary.

Please help me. I can't edit BIOS for ECS K7S5A Pro Rev: 5.0 New versions of AMIBCP v7 can't edit: Configure SEUP Data -> Chipset Setup. I want to change default settings from 100/100MHz to 133/133MHz.
Thanks in advance.

Works fine, but right in the menu "Chipset Setup" program freezes and can't change frequencies. I tried with versions: 7.60.04, 7.00.b11, 7.51.03, but without success.
Attach file is a backup of my BIOS version 30811, which I can't edit.

Did you try to modify the file on a system with the K7S5A installed or on a different system ?
AFAIR in this Bios submenu there's also the hardware monitor, you can't modify this section on a non-K7S5A system.

Hi, I'm reading here for quite some time but registered just now to answer.

http://www.memotech.franken.de/NexGen/Bios.html is my website.

I already have these two and unfortunately they don't work with the 10/10/94 AMIBIOS that is used on the NexGen motherboards.

That's right, editing is only possible on a K7S5A system.
Many thanks for the tips. :D

Do you still have AMIBCP 6.21 or older? As a new users here, I cannot send messages.
As is described in this thread, http://www.vogons.org/viewtopic.php?f=46&t=36122 , I am trying to add native PS/2 mouse support to AMI BIOSes as I have done successfully for AWARD BIOSes.

It would also be useful to have all those AMIPCB revisions noted on this website, http://www.memotech.franken.de/NexGen/Bios.html

BCP14.EXE (for core BIOS 07/07/91)
BCP20.EXE (for core BIOS 12/12/91)
BCP21.EXE (for core BIOS 06/06/92)
BCP21A.EXE (for core BIOS 11/11/92 and 08/08/93)
WBCP33.EXE (for core BIOS 12/15/93 (and 06/25/94?))
WBCP40.EXE (for core BIOS 06/25/94 and 07/25/94)
WBCP42.EXE (for core BIOS 07/25/94)
WBCP511.EXE (for core BIOS 10/10/94)

Any help finding these would be greatly appreciated.

Using Modbin for the AWARD 4.50/4.51 BIOSes was all that was needed to enable PS/2 support, plus, of course, the needed hardware modification to the keyboard controller and adding the IRQ12 line.
