Whats probaly the faulty component on motherboard causing the problem?? I have a Delta-L that seems to be doing this. Everything looks right (but ofcourse it's not) at the eyes of a begginer like me. But how can I be sure if the chip size is 4Mbit?? I want to be sure before attempting to hot flash. Why a 4Mbit chip can't be flashed with a 2Mbit (256KB) bios? All D686 Phoenix chips suports 4Mbit BIOS??
I have a Delta-L and AN7, both socket A.I have three BIOS chips (one with Delta-L, another one with AN7 and the last one, used as BIOS backup for Delta-L), all of them with a stick PhoenixBios D686 on them. AS you know, Delta-L uses a 2Mbit BIOS, and AN7 uses 4Mbit BIOS. So the question is. I want n...
