I am upgrading a motherboard on a Windows 8 computer. I think I need to change some drivers to generic ones first. Is there any good internet pages on this? I was able to get into the bios settings of an Intel D845WN briefly. I have a POST code reporting card and the last code before it stops is 30, and the second last is 2D. All the keyboard does is flash all the lights when the computer is reset. I thought I needed to reprogram the bios so I did that ...

I tried a resource extracting tool and there seemed to be many files within the BIO file. I don't have to fix my bios now since I've had the motherboard replaced. There is a 3 year warranty with Intel motherboards.

I have accidentally used the update utility for WinPE and now I don't see any response with the screen or the keyboard. I have downloaded the .BIO file but it is more than just a bios image. The BIOS is 32Mbit and it is 9.5MB. I am intending to unsolder the chip and program it and solder it back in....
