LS-120 requires FDC-enabled

As the information request in- Other Bios Update Issues/S2DGU V-R1.4a to V-1.6- concerning upgrade changes seems to be unobtainable I will try another route.
The reason for the upgrade info request was: In order to get the LS-120 (Imation-MF357G-3111UAL) to appear as "Floppy A" I had to set the onboard FDC to ENABLE, thereby useing IRQ-6 & DMA-02. When actually the device is connected to Secondary Master IDE controller-useing IRQ-15. Otherwise it appears as "Removable drive" and fails to work(makes some mean clicking sounds :?
Question(s): 1. Have I missed something in setup?(I have the setting in a file but I see no way to attach here) 2. Is there another way to install the device, say to the floppy connector and still have it function with 120MB disks?( I realize this may invoke a new thread--if it does slap my hands and I will resubmit in another place :oops:

Looks like a bug in the BIOS. However it does not matter because no other device can use IRQ6 and DMA2.
