Hello,

I have a TYAN TRINITY 371 S 1857 -B (BX chipset) motherboard.
On Tyan's website I found the specifications of my current BIOS settings
(V1.18.06 0824991630 date: 23/09/99).

Since then there 3 Bios revisions. I'm considering such a revision because I want to upgrade to a PIII Coppermine CPU. One of the listed revisions could arrange this.

What do I do? Flash my bios with this revision or flash it with the latest revision?
Or to put it another way, does the latest bios revision cover all the previous versions?

Thanks in advance for your reply.

Friendly greetings,

Rytcy.

Assuming each revision is for the same board (ie: yours) all you need is the latest version.
Flash your BIOS at your own risk.

Hello soupy,

Thanks for your fast answer.
You help me out of some trouble here.

And euh, I'm a newbie visiting this forum for the first time. I didn't send you any messages containing viruses. Sorry if I gave you that impression.

Kindly,

Rytcy
