I just built a computer. The processor I put in was an AMD 1800. But the computer reads it as an AMD 1100.
My motherboard specifications:
K7s5A
Form Factor: FULLATX
Chipset: SiS735
it is made by ECS Elitegroup

thanks for the help in advance

Change FSB/memory from 100/100 to 133/133
Read your manaul how to do this !
For your Sound problem - are you sure you connected your boxes to the Soundblaster Live in your system and not to the OnBoard Sound ?

Hey! Why don't you visit before the ECS website? There is an BIOS-update for the k7s5a, especially to recognize the AthlonXP processors!
