Modbin is a utility that can modify BIOS images. It can hide/unhide settings and also change some texts. If you want to modify the BIOS, you can do it by using this utility, then save the file and flash it. Don't do it if you don't know how to fix it if it fails.

It's the m-audio audiophile 2496. In my opinion it is pretty crap with clicks and pops at lower latencies in cubase. I complained and thats why m-audio tech support suggested installing in standard pc mode so it has its own irq, and therefore they say you need to turn off acpi mode in the bios aswell. Does this make sense?
Do you get Award BootBlock BIOS and BIOS ROM checksum error? Do you remember "Don't do it if you don't know how to fix it if it fails"? It failed. Read the FAQ at the main page here. The board should be able to boot from floppy and flash the BIOS again.
