OK, so I've used UniFlash to get a copy of my Bios image in file format. Now what do I use to edit it, and be able to understand what I'm looking at? BTW, I have an Intel 850 chipset.

What BIOS do you have? For Award BIOS there's cbrom and for AMI amibcp.

This sounds like someone is trying to circumvent limits set in the OEM-bios from a branded system. What brand/model?

Note: you void your warranty by doing this.

Yeah, I know it viods the warranty. It's an old board I just want to try some things with. It's an Intel D850GB, and yes most of the advanced tweaker settings are locked down and cannot be accessed in the BIOS. I'm just wondering if there is a way to read the binary file so I can see what values are represented and just try to tweak them to see what happens.
