I recently posted on another forum about how my mouse would stop working for several seconds all the time. I was using a usb port for the mouse. Then it was suggested that I use a ps/2 adapter. So I put an old adapter on that I had around the house. It fixed that problem, however a new problem came about. My sensitivity would go really high and the cursor would jet all across the screen, selecting things, etc. I would have to replug it in and it would be fixed.. until next time. Then i reported this new problem and was told i might need to update my BIOS.

So now my question, is this a problem that updating BIOS can fix. Or, are there any other suggestions that could help before i would have to try a BIOS update. thanks
