i have a p2 233 12mb ram i installed i installed a dvd player and the movies appear to play in slow motion i have win98 istalled and power dvd is there a different program that would make the mvies play as they should thanks in advance

Try increasing your total RAM to at least 64mb.

yeah that was supposed to read 128 mb i have increased now to 196 mb and still the movie plays like a slideshow

2 choices:
a) Get a cheap ATi Rage128 card.... this has DVD-decoding hardware support.
b) Get a faster processor for your system... this'll improve software DVD-decoding.
