Hey ya'll.

Upgrading an award bios. Went to esupport and they told me that I need a x6a69mpc9 and Sure Flash to update my old bios (i810-w83627jf-6a69mpc9c-00) and that it would cost me $80??? Tried to find the file on most of the popular sites but was not a success.

Anyone know where I can find this upgrade??

Many thanks... :D

Thanks Denniss. Found the file, flashed the bios but no real changes in anything. I was hoping that I could upgrade the old bios and be able to disable the onboard video for the intel 810 chipset but I guess it's impossible.
Anyways...mucho thanx!!

Thanks for the info!!! :) Went through all of that already. XP Device manager shows the intel controller as disabled now. Had to manually remove the intel graphics driver though. But...Sandra says that my Radeon 7000 (64MB) PCI card is still not there fully ie. video memory is still controlled by the m/b and suggests that I disable the onboard display?!? Says they are both sharing video? I only get 32MB as the max memory. Also, after I disabled the driver(s) and go to reboot everything is scrambled onscreen up until I actually get to the XP logon screen. But once I log on, it's all good. Still not utilzing the PCI card fully though. Tried to contact the manufacter both Radeon and Pine...no luck. I'm stumped. CMOS settings are PCI boot first, onboard video 64MB enabled, no resources to control anything else that would allow disabling... :(

Sys info:
Celeron 533 PII, 128 ram, Pine TL-IWX3 m/b, o/c to 600 on the Pentium, XP Home, LG 775N Monitor and of course, Intel 810E chipset...

Many thanks for the advice...it did help in a way...
