Apologies if this is not the right forum to ask this but is there a way to find out how old a pc is? Like when it was initially built. Have searched everywhere on the web. All I really need is like a dos command or to load up a file in wordpad in windows.
Thanks for any help

You can always open up the box and look at the date codes on the IC's...will give a general indication, assuming the manufacturer didn't use old stock when it was built...
The PC board itself should also have a date code on it someplace...
Then again, you might get lucky and the manufacturer label (if it has one) might tell you
