Hello,
I had to reset my BIOS for some reason but wrote down the configuration first. I then reconfigured the settings but unfortunately there is a annoying memory check when starting up the computer and I don’t know which setting has to be changed in order to avoid this long memory check (counting up the memories at start-up).

Motherboard :GA-8TX
--------------------------
M/B ver : REV:1.0
BIOS : AMI BIOS GA-8TX F6
Thank you in advance for your help

Hello Nicks

Thank you, But in Bios I do not find the "POST" to enable or disable. Is there a hidden menu point? The title in my BIOS say AMIBIOS Simple Viewer 1.0 or so.

Thanks

Hmm, that option is not shown in the downloadable 8TX manual. :?
No "Quick memory test" option either ?

Pressing "Escape" during test works but is a little annoying.

No "quick memeory test" option either

There is a Dual Bios. Has it got to do with that?

I don't think it's to do with "Dual BIOS". It seems Gigabyte have removed the option from the CMOS set-up menu in this BIOS. Have you upgraded your BIOS since you bought the machine ?

Yes I did, "GA-8TX F8" but then the Bios was corrupted and Dual wanted to load backup but unsuccessfully

I loaded the GA-8TX F6 one again.
