The Wim's BIOS FAQ #9 (http://www.wimsbios.com/faq.jsp#q9) states:
Solution 2: Get a new BIOS chip

Contact your motherboard manufacturer to see if they sell BIOS chips. Some motherboard manufacturers send them for free.
Contact a company that sells pre-flashed chips, like Unicore Software, FlashBIOS.ORG, BadFlash or BiosWorld
Do the large OEMs tend to supply BIOS chips at no additional cost while computers within warranty term?

That policy varies. You will have to ask your particular OEM.
