I'm at my wits end with this Iv'e tried a lot of things to restore my pc win 98se and am at a loss. I want to try and install windows over the previous installation but the primary drive is A:. How can I, if possible, change the BIOS so that it will recognise my cd drive first on boot up. All I seem to be able to do at this stage is work from the C: prompt. I can restore to factory settings but I really don't want to go down that road unless absolutely nessessary as I have too much work to consider losing. If anybody can tell me how to boot up from the c: prompt I would be eternally grateful.
Any help at all would be a blessing.
Cheers!
