I am in the process of upgrading from Win95 to XP. Unfortunately half way through it threw up an error. I need to start from scratch but each time I boot up it goes straight back into the XP setup. Is there anyway I can wipe the hard drive using the BIOS and start from scratch?

I have tried going into the BIOs and booting from the cd but the XP setup seemd to override and then I get the same error time and time again.

Many thanks in advance.

Edited for grammar.

Flash your BIOS at your own risk.

Try holding [F1] key down when starting the computer... you may get a keyboard error which should allow you to press a key to enter setup.
