It is the Matsonic MS7192S. Web site at www.matsonic.com
I tried to install the Western Digital 100gb. The system didn't detect the HD at all and it just stall. Nothing else show up after "Detecting Primary Slave" I have a master drive and would like to install this drive as a slave. Jumper settings are correct.
I downloaded a updated bios from matsonic website. But when I try to install it, it said the file's part number is invalid for my hardware. I'm clueless now. Please help. Thanks.

Download UniFlash from my page and run it to check your Flash ROM type. Maybe you have a 128KB one. If you have 256KB, the BIOS should be OK and you can flash it using UniFlash (including bootblock).

I used uniflash, but the option for flashing the bios is disabled. It can't detect my flash type. It said N/A(is it write protected?) How do I know if it is write protected or it is not able to be flashed at all? According to the spec on this board, I have a 2mb flash pnp bios.
when I used award flash, this message always come up.
"The program file's part number does not match with your system"
I read the FAQ and try "Awdflash 2Axxxxxx.BIN /Py" but the same message come up. I also did /QI. That didn't work either.

It's a Winbond W29C020 compatible chip - 256KB, so it should be OK. Have you tried awdflash 7.xx?

Everything looks ok. Downloaded the bios update from matsonic website itself. but couldn't get it to flash. Is it write protected? How can I find out? How can I disable it?

Newer Awdflash versions often do not work on older boards (why? because it's crap
). Use v7.xx.
