I want to add an extra Hard Disk in my computer but i don't know the maximum GBs that it supports. This is the information that i get when i start up my pc about my mobo ant bios EQ82C6618A-ETEQ-2A5LDS2FC-OO . If i update BIOS will it be possible to recognise a bigger HD? Where can i find updates for this version of BIOS that i have? Thanks for the info.

Please post your FULL Bios-ID and not only parts of it !!
Please include the Bios OEM message as it contain additional information ( might be caled Bios OEM signon) .

It's indeed a Soyo mainboard and should be clearly marked - a quick search via google came up with SY-5EAS or similar model number

EAS-1A2
Award Modular BIOS v4.51PG

This is the extra information that i get while booting in my system. I use Win98SE. Maximum supported hard disk has to do with mobo, bios or win edition;

Edit:
I found out that maximum supported HD is 32GB. If i use a PCI-IDE card will i be able to use a larger HD?
