I am trying to install a large hard-drive about 128GB. I have heard that old Award Bios' need to be updated and patched to support a hard drive that large. Can you please inform me where i can get the proper software for free.

Can you please give me a brief instructional on how I go about installing this new BIOS. Which flash program will work best?

* I am aware of the risk of flashing a BIOS, but this comp is old and I'm trying to set it up so my neice has something to use. If it doesn't work It will not be a big loss.

Can you find a manual for this motherboard? I want to make sure the jumpers are correct. Thank You so much. Your help is appreciated

Seems BCM/GVC call this board DR730 or QS440BX.
Check http://www.bcmcom.com/tech/QS440bx/QS440BX.htmand see whether that looks right.
