Hello to all Bios-Gurus.

I´m searching for an BIOS update for an older PC from the no more existing Vobis Microcomputer AG (Highscreen) that supports ATA100 HDD´s with more than 32GB. The MB is from MSI Typ: MSI-6163FC Ver.1 , the BIOS is dated from 07/01/1999, BIOS serial is: 2A6LGCM4EC.
(07/01/1999-692-596-W977-2A6LGCM4EC-00)
I already found an update on the MSI site (W6163FC20.exe), but I did not found any information about what is updatet with this.
Thers already one in your database but I´m not sure if this is compatible with mine: http://wims.rainbow-software.org/nicks/ ... OEM%29.zip

Hope someone can help me .

Is there any chance you can make a backup of your bios and upload the file (zipped)?

For a proper identification of this board we need to complete Bios-ID. Not just the info from the bottom of the page but also the Bios eval/OEM message on the top left just below the Award Logo.
In case of the Maxdata Bios the message of the patched Bios is "VMP 1.0B6f *"
