20GB: 2A5LER09E-00 (R-582E)

I recently obtained a WD 20gb drive and when I go to boot up it's never recognized. The problem is I can't find a bios flash so I'm wondering if anyone can give me some insight as to what I should do to get this drive recognized and working?
