o.k but how to do this because in my MB manual which is also downloaded from the internet it doesn't specify enything about any jumper which sets the flash voltage .If you find something about this please tell me how to locate this jumper and how to modify his setting.
Thank you very much
Alex.

Get the -02 manual for the board and compare it with the board to make sure that the jumpers match. Then check if the reserved jumpers JP9 and JP10 are configured properly (should be JP9: 1~2, JP10: 2~3).

Well it seems that this problem doesn;t wabt to end ,why?
I looked at the manual 02 and saw that j9 and j10 are for bios operation modes.O.K. but on my MB there isn't a j9 nor a j10 and were they were suposed to be there isn't anything to name it "jumper".But there are two jumpers near the bios named j35 and j36 .I substituted these two jumpers for j9 and j10 and put them in the required positions 1-2 and 2-3 and nothing happened the message erase chip fail still showed up.after this i put the two jumpers in every posible position and in every pos no change the error msg still appeared.
Are there any options available for this problem ? :)If yes then let's see what we can do
And thank you again very much

If you have a voltmeter, check voltage on the VPP pin.

Hello
I'm back but alone!!My Pc partner motherboard after about 8 years of wonderful service has "DIED"!!!!!!!!!!!
After measuring the voltage on the VPP pin and observing that it has 12V the system freezed and i restarted.Surprise:the boot block entered the scene.lucky for me i was having a backup diskette with the old bios an autoexec file ,the system and the uniflash program and almost forgot it, an isa video card .I tried to save the bios but no chance it kept telling me that the erase chip operation has failed. After several attempts and reboots a chip near the IDE connector on the MB exploded creating a litlle "hole"in the chip. This is the end.
Now i've got another MB and i'm trying to identify it and after this i will installit my 233 MMX proc and that's all.
I will start harvesting for a new computer.I am very sad that my good old comp just died, but that's life.I will never understand why that Bios wouldn't do a flash it was for it own good!!!
Thank you very much for your assistance
Best rergards, Alex

O.K. now i have and using a 1437-Hsing tech enterprise co ltd motherboard, lower in performance than mine and it's equipped with a cyrix P200 processor.Ehat i want to do is to change the proc with my proc which is a Intel Pentium 233MMX proc and it sure is better.
The problem i encountered is that it seems i am unable to find a manual for this MB and therefore i do not know hoew to change the junpers to set the voltage for my pentium proc.
If you you know a lionk or have the manual for this board please tell me.
I will also show you the ID string of my Bios maybe it tells more to you than to me! )

we could publish a list of clones on a page called "shameless copycats". This is the trouble with putting good info available for the public. Sooner or later someone is going to try and take credits for it.
