That seems to be Joss Technology JT586TS4. The josstech.com domain was taken over about 1998 by an unrelated German company, so finding a BIOS is difficult.

All there is:

04/18/97-i430VX-2A59GJ6AC-00

It's a beta release and will only support upto 8GB.
Interesting features: CDROM/SCSI boot support (don't know whether yours does).

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
@Mods: don't remember whether applerom's patcher required 32GB support in order for it to work. Never used it.

Ok, if version 04/18/97-i430VX-2A59GJ6AC-00 is the latest bios update from the Joss company, could you give me a mirror to download that one.
8 gb instead of 2 is a progress.

Suggestion :
Get a PCI UDMA controller card like Promise Ultra 100 or similar ones .

They use their own Bios to detect IDE HDD and are not limited by the mainboard Bios limitations and you'll notice a speed increase from your HDD
