40GB: 02/23/1999-i440BX-SMC60X-2A69KB0CC-00

I have a BioStar motherboard, model M6TBA, version 1.3 .
I am attempting to install a Western Digital 40GB HD,
model WD400BB-00DGA0. My BIOS is an AWARD Modular
BIOS v4.51PG, ID-String 02/23/1999-i440BX-SMC60X-2A69KB0CC-00.
The Board/BIOS-Version : TBA0224D.

I found a patch on your "Tested" page, but it is listed only for
versions 1.0, 1.1, and 1.2 of the motherboard. Is this patch
usable for my 1.3 version? Would greatly appreciate your advice.

v1.0, 1.1 and 1.2 have 128KB BIOS - the patched BIOS is 128KB.
v1.3 and later have 256KB BIOS - the latest official BIOS already supports HDDs up to 128GB:
