Looks like A-Trend 6320. I can't reach their site at the moment, but the latest BIOS Riascorp has at http://www.riascorp.com/pc_solutions/bios.html is:
05/05/1999-i440ZX-W977-6320M100C-DW
with message
6320M VER:1.0r03 WB1
. I can patch and send that one...
(update)...done.

@ajzchips: Errrrrr....yes. I ignored the last two characters in the search. Maybe he could have posted his full BIOS string as requested in the FAQ and posting rules and I'd have noticed the date.
BTW, has A-trend disappeared ? as I can't get to the site at all.
@anand: If you'd like to save your existing BIOS using AWDFLASH and email it to me or ajz one of us will patch it for you.

All Atrend's BIOSes are available at mirror FTP ftp://ftp.univ-lille1.fr/pub/vendor/atrend
Patched and tested BIOSes are at http://wims.rainbow-software.org

I was having trouble reaching either mirror site. I'll try again later...Rainbow wrote:All Atrend's BIOSes are available at mirror FTP ftp://ftp.univ-lille1.fr/pub/vendor/atrend

Yes, I can see the lille mirror site now. But the 6320 BIOS at that site is the same version as at www.riascorp.com, so I'll see if anand can send a later one.

Well, when the PC is switched off the BIOS is not running so the RTC keeps the time. When the PC is switched on the OS is running. I don't see how the BIOS could affect the RTC's timekeeping - has anyone else any ideas ?In an email, Anand wrote:Thanks for your help Nick and sorry for not replying earlier.
I did patch the BIOS but a funny thing happenned. After I patched it, the clock started to lose time. I don't think it is a problem with the CMOS battery because this happenned immediately after I patched the BIOS.
Is it OK if I go back to my old BIOS?
He can go back to the old BIOS but of course he would need to use Disk Manager/EZ-Drive or similar, or restrict himself to 32 GiB.
