Does it hang during HDD detection?
If yes, try to enter the HDD parameters manually.

I am afraid no-one knows of particular bugs in the AMI BIOS that can be patched. Your best course of action is to post at the PC-Chips Lottery discussion board for further advice. Go to http://go.to/th2.
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
