Hi This is KOBIAN Mercury Mother Board.


Main Board Model No : KOB ZX ATX
It's showing in Disply Intel 440ZX - P6ZX3 BIOS REV :C

Award Modular BIOS V4.51PG
BIOS EXT : V1.0A

BOIS ID : 04/19/1999-I440ZX-W977TF-2A69KSHCC-00

BIOS Manufacturer ID is SH – SYE (Shining Yuan Enterprise Co)

It was not decting my Seagate Barracuda 80 GB Ultra ATA100 HDD.

I made Jumper Setting and made it work. but it's showing only 32 GB.

How to solve this problem ?

I have download BOIS from http://wims.rainbow-software.org/edwin/

but it's untested.

will some one help me where i can get tested BIOS ? or is any other way to solve this issue ?

We beta-patch them, but it's upto you to try it out. Our patched BIOSes will boot your system, no problem, but we depend on your feedback to find out whether your HDD is recognized or not.

Thank you all.

After BIOS update my MOBO detecting 80 GB HDD.

I was trying to install Windows 98 SE.
FDISK is able to do just for 10 GB.

I Tried with DM, It was showing the max disk size only 8.5 GB

I installed Windows 2000 Proff. Everything is fine. it was showing full disk size.

Known Bug with FDISK version up to Win98SE - newer FDISK available from M$ (usually the WinME FDISK version)
