80GB: 03/15/2000-i440BX-W977-2A69KM4KC-00

My harddrive (maxtor 6Y080L0) is not recognized. It has 80GB. When setting a jumper on the hdd, I can only use 40GB. Please help me.

Looks like a MS-6163 Bios .

Please post the Bios OEM message like W6163Mj 2.3 or similar to be sure which version you have !

My BIOS OEM-message is W6163MJ V2.6 031600.

Well, seems like you have the MS-6163 V1.0

Latest release is 2.7 (you have 2.6).

The site mentions support for HDDs > 64GB, so it should fix your problem.
