80GB: Fujitsu Siemens T-Bird

I recently downloaded new bios for my Fujitsu Siemens T-Bird with Biostar Motherboard VIA 82C691 rev 6.
I've installed
I tried to install an extra HD now (80 GB) but I can't get it installed.
I've changed the jumpers on the harddisk now, so it is recongnized as a 32 GB Drive, but there must be a way to solve this problem.
Can anyone give me an advice, on how to manage settings in the Bios.

can you give us a link to the BIOS? Or give us the data from the POST screen? or the results of running BIOS Agent?
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.

As said we need a positive ID of your board to help you.
Either the complete Bios-ID or the motherboard model number as printed onto it.
