btw. from the above site:
Windows 2000, 2003 and XP do not support big drives by default; you will have to install the latest service pack in order to get big drives working properly on these OS.

AFAIR there were some boards with Award 4.51PG having this problem but not many.
I'll dig out my patcher and have a look at the Bios on the weekend.

I've tested it with my Western Digital WD800JB with 8MB Cache
ATA100, UDMA5
It's from the Caviar SE series
