Well,hi to all of you,I am new here..
My problem is whit SATA drive
MBO is Asrock's 775v88,and doesn't recognize any of SATA Hard drives...
in bios,and ofcourse in Windows
Is there problem with bios or what? Disk is brand new Hitachi SATA 320gb

VIA Chipset - you need to force your HDD into the SATA1 mode. This is either done via jumper on the HDD or a utility from your HDD manufacturer. If neither is possible you need to get a HDD from a different manufacturer with this option.

Aa I said, the problem is the VIA chipset (specifically the 8237 southbridge). The SATA-controller has a bug with SATA-II drives, either the detection takes very long or they are not detected at all.
You have to somehow verify the drive is not in the SATA-II mode anymore.
