Hi Folks,

First the Bios Agent report:
BIOS Date: 12/08/03
BIOS Type: Award Modular BIOS v6.00PG
BIOS ID: 12/08/2003-SiS-646-6A6IXG0QC
OEM Sign-On: GA-8STXCFS F9 FSC 12-08-2003
Chipset: SiS 646 rev 0
Superio: ITE 8705/SiS 950 rev 2 found at port 2Eh
OS: Win2000 SP4
CPU: Intel Pentium(R) 4 1800 Mhz MAX: 3066 Mhz
BIOS ROM In Socket: Yes
BIOS ROM Size: 256K
Memory Installed: 256 MB
Memory Maximum: 5120 MB
And in second the System Setup:
OS: Win 2K
Boot: HD0, CDROM, Floppy
IDE1: Master: Seagate 40 GB | Slave: Samsung 80 GB (actual with 31,4 GB)
IDE2: Master: Hitachi CD-Writer | Slave: Hitachi DVD-Rom

The Problem: The second HD will not work with the full Size. The BIOS does not support such large Harddrives.

We cant find a BIOS-Update does fit this capacitiy. If anone have an Idea how we can get an BIOS-Update (for this older machine)?

Gigabyte (as Manufacturer) does not Support this Board anymore. There's no Solution.

This Bios is more than recent enough to fully support HDD up to 128 GB, maybe even more. And it is the latest bios FSC offers.

Please make sure your new drive is not limited to report 32GB, this is usually done with a jumper on your HDD. Also make sure your slave drive is connected to the middle grey) connector, the blue connector should be connected to the board while the black connector should be connected to your master drive. Both your HDD should be set to Cable-Select (assuming you use a standard 8-wire UDMA-IDE-cable).

Thanx a lot - this was the right Reference ;) The Default-Jumpersettings limited the available Space to 32 GB. I removed the Jumper - and it's done. The HD is recognized now in the correct size.
