Trying to build a storage server for files. I have built 3 computers before with out a problem...all using raid and SATA. The problem is that the BIOS does not even see the 2 SATA hard drives when attached. They are 2 750gb Western Digitals. They are being powered up, I can hear and feel them spin up. I also tried using an extra 74gb Raptor SATA HD I had lying and the Bios instantly recognized it. Then back to the 750's and nothing. I even set the jumpers on the 750's to 1.5GB, not 3.0GB and still nothing. Note that if you ask to install any programs I can not since I can even get the Bios to see the HD I can not load the OS. Also note that this is not an XP problem with the loading of the Nvidia SATA drivers. I have those on the XP CD thanks to Nlite.

I have concluded 2 possible failures:
1. Both 750's are bad (The odds are not that great that both would be DOA from NewEgg)(Quick check would be to get an external HD case and see if I can see it, this is tomorrows plan)
2. Bios does not support HDs that large.

If you have any other suggestions please feel free input or thoughts. Thank You.

Enough of the back ground story...
