80 GB: 08/06/98-i440LX-P2L97-S-00 ASUS P2L97-S

I tried to install a WD 80GB, and the BIOS just locks up at detect.

Is there a fix for this anywhere?

You might have to install the latest beta BIOS...

Thank you so much!

I also found the U.S. version of the same file and flashed it. (There was a one byte difference in file size between locations, which likely means nothing)

I am now ghosting the old drive to the 80 GB.
