I'm looking for a patched or newer bios for a Freetech P5F93 motherboard with >32gb or >64gb hard drive support. Current bios version is 10/09/1998-ALADDIN5-2A5KKF2AC-00

Freetech seemed to have an updated bios version ("93-10.zip" or "93-10.bin") with that problem fixed, but it is no longer available at their website and I can't find it anywhere else.

It would also help a lot if somebody could explain me the way in which any other similar bios is modified to handle large hard drives (what and where to look for in the code), since I probably have the assembler knowledge to do it, but I don't have the time required to investigate it from scratch.

read about the bugs here:
http://www.ryston.cz/petr/bios/award.html

and if you're using a modern OS (Windows XP/2k or Linux) just clip the drive to 32GB and use the full capacity of the drive once the OS is loaded (those OS just ignore the bogus BIOS data).

It seems to have the P5F93 Bios (93-10.zip) available

Thankyou very much Denniss and cp, it's flashed and working. (Damn, the fun was just beginning...)
