Hi
I doing a friend a small favorite that has gotten a little bit hairy. Just installing a larger HD for him but found out that his BIOS is too old.

Excuse my German... :?

Can someone send me the updated version or tell me where to go download it. My research shows that the MB is a CT-7ATA. The links at the Chaintech site all fail (page not found).
From the other info I've seen in forum posts, there's at least a 7ATA116 available.

Thanks in advance for your help.

The Bios should be new enough to atively support HDD up to 128GB. AFAIK there's no new Bios with native support of larger HDD but newer OS like W2K/XP/Linux support bigger HDD, these OS directly access the drives without needing a fallback to Bios limits

Denniss - You are correct. The current BIOS will support up to 136GB. The drive that I'm installing is 250GB. Also upgrading to XP.

I downloaded the update from the link provided by Kuriaki and will try it out. I believe this is what I was looking for - AWESOME! I'll post the results...
