Hey guys, just figured out a major problem I'm having. Trying to install the Toshiba MK2431GAH hard drive in my Sony TZ270N with a Phoenix BIOS. I get an 0200: Failure Fixed Disk error, which I think is because this drive uses the new 4096 bytes per sector format.
Is it possible to update the BIOS to support 4kb/sector hard disks? Sony does not have any BIOS updates available.
Thanks.
Possible to update BIOS to work with new 4kb/sector HDDs?
