Hi all
My new Seagate Barracuda SATA does not get picked up in the BIOS nor in Windows. I have tested the HDD on another PCand it worked, and tried another SATA HDD on my PC with no success. When trying the HDD on another PC with an identical motherboard I got the same problem. The settings on the BIOS seems fine. I get a "The BIOS does not be installed, press g to continue" error when the HDD is plugged in. My PATA HDD's work fine. In windows at the device manager, the "VIA SATA RAID Controller" says "This device cannot start. (Code 10)".
A friend suggested a BIOS update but since I have the latest version (v3.5) i doubt that will fix anything.
Can anyone help me?
