I've HP VEi8 and I want to use a 80GB HD
To do this i have updare my old bios from: HW.27.04(QHW.04.00) too: HW.27.10(QHW.10.01).
After i downoload this patch: MiTAC 6110ZU_VA from this page: http://wims.rainbow-software.org/index. ... 0&count=40 and run it.
Then i install the new HD in my PC and put it on, The BIOS See it correctly! (name and GB)
On my new 80GB HD is installed Win XP pro because it is from another PC.
But When I start my HP VEi8 with the new 80GB HD it don't start!!!!
I restart the system and it go in the page were i can start winXP in many modality. I run it in normal modality but it don't go, and it don't go in any modality!!!
Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.
