hey heres something new...

award flasher 5.2A tells me that:

'System was not new award BIOS version
Please update ROM BIOS first... '

but when I looked at it with modbin, it was way newer... what is going on here........ ???

those jumpers were already set that way

alright ill change the jumpers now

should I try flash again after I do it then?

i know, I flashed that file, but my BIOS doesn't change! ((((

the flasher goes through all steps successfully, no errors anywhere, but upon resetting the machine, my old 05/07/1999 BIOS still remains!

ajzchips: i get to the page but when I click on the individual files it always says 'cannot find server' :((((

i did it - the release date on the file (its B1120IAG.BIN btw) is 11/20/2000 Its just not flashing correctly!!!! :( but it goes through all the steps... no errors... in another post i was advised to disable Flash Write Protect do you know how I could do that? or maybe I use the old award flasher? co...

I used your 'Uniflash' program........ and it doesn't do anything either! well it does, it goes through all steps successfully, but the release date is still the same

what could possibly be the matter?

can anyone give me a link to a nice old version (5.00 would apparently work) of AWDFLASH.EXE ? The one on this website doesn't work

well my 'old' one i remember was 05/07/1999 and my 'new' one is also 05/07/1999
