I have to flash the bios due to a bootblock message. So I made the bootdisk. Copied the AWDFLASH program to the disk and the correct bios file.

Start the computer and everything looks fine. The correct file to program is there but all of a sudden I get the beep code of 1 long and 2 short beeps indicating a bad video adapter and the program just keeps repeating itself.

Well what I dont know now is how can I get around this issue or am I doomed.

Sounds like something I once encountered. The flash occurrs repeatedly and the computer keeps rebooting in-between. However the twist in your problem is the video adaptor issue, which means that something is not quite right after the image is flashed.

Are you sure you have the video adaptor fully seated into the slot on the mainboard.

You could also be encountering a board fault where once there is a good and matching BIOS image, that there are other problems with the board itself including video interface problems.
