Hello everyone,

My Hardware:
Board : DFI P5BV3+ Rev. B+
CPU : AMD K6 2/400

I wanted to install a HD with 80G. My Board does not recognize the HD.
So I decided to falsh the bios with the leatest Version from the DFI Homepage. The Biosflash was ok. Now I booted my windows (win98) and i have problems with the new PCI-Bus-Drivers. So windows does not work.
OK, Shit. So i decided to Reflash the Bios with the old one that i have saved at first. But after the Bios-Flash with the old(org) one, my Board was dead. Black screen. Nothing is working. Not bootable.

So, dear readers, what should i do?
Mybe need a new Bios-Chip?

please help me

with best regards

Camillo

Did you clear CMOS after flashing ?
Read FAQs #9 and #20 on the main www.wimsbios.com website
Tested patched BIOSes. Untested patched BIOSes.

Yes i cleared the cmos after flashing.
I tried FAQ #9 that you wrote. Fine. My Board has a BlockBoot. So I
make a bootable disk with the autoexec.bat, execute the flash utility again.
Unbelievable - it works. Now my PC ist booting again.

But one problem is still alive. The Board (now with latest Bios-Version)
is not able to recognize my new HD with 80G.

Any Answers ?
