Good Morning All:
I RMA'ed one of these Boards. The one that I got back has a short in the board. The reset Led on my Post Reader card stays on even with only one CPU and it's memory is installed. I have inspected the underside and all the slots with a magnifing glass. I cleaned and inspected all pins Cards, Memory and CPU. The board is on a wooden bench that is covered with a rubber pad.
I have built and repaired several Asus board computers starting with a 486 in the early 1980's. I don't know any thing about Asus Support because I never had any trouble with their parts. It's been seven days since they replied to my questions. I need to work on my clients computers not mine. Should I buy a different Board and write this one off to experience?
Thanks,
B.K.
