Hi all,

Recently been given a pc to look at which doesn't seem to do anything apart from show the power lights and spin any fans. The motherboard is an MSI MS6121 and has an Award BIOS in it. tried the bootblock pin short trick and this does not help. There does not seem to be any life in the machine.

I've removed all components apart from bare essentials, have tried different CPU,RAM and power supply but to no avail. Is this mobo now an ugly doorstop? :D

Any help on this prob will be greatly appreciated

One of the possibilities is a corrupt BIOS. Try hotflashing the chip on another working board (doesn't have to be identical).
